Wait a minute. You mean to tell me that two talented, undefeated boxer travelled south to North Carolina and that they both scored knockouts in the first round against opponents with poor records? This stuff NEVER happens!

7-0 vs. 7-17 and 3-0 vs. 0-3. Sounds fair, huh?

My thoughts are these:

1. For Joe Jones, I don't have a problem. This is his rookie year. At least he has being doing this on the road so he has not had the benefit of home cooking. Taking things slowly.

2. For Jerry Odom, they gave him a more experienced foe this time. Marcus Brooks had more pro bouts than Odom's previous seven opponents combined. Odom still dispatched him. This was another slight step up and we should see more in the future.

Each fighter is different therefore there are different ways to build that fighter. No, I don't have a problem with these particular boxers doing what they are doing at this stage.
