Alexandria, VA lightweight Iesha Kenney has advanced to the semifinals of the 2013 Women's World Junior/Youth Championships in Albena, Bulgaria.
Kenney is competing in the junior division and defeated Kaysarat Khazikhanova 2-1 in her quarterfinal bout on Wednesday. Kenney will take on Esra Yildiz of Turkey in the semifinals on Friday.
