The website Southwest Fightnews is reporting that undefeated DC welterweight Dusty Hernandez Harrison will take on Josh "The Pitbull" Torres of Albuquerque, NM on the undercard of the Gennaday Golovkin-Curtis Stevens bout on Saturday, November 2 at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The bout will be for the WBC Youth Welterweight World championship in Harrison's first title contest.
Harrison (17-0, 10 KO's) is coming off a fourth-round TKO over Guillermo Valdes on August 23 in Dover, DE. Torres (12-2-1, five KO's) has won five in a row and won an eight-round unanimous decision over Marcus Brashers on March 31 in Albuquerque. Torres was a pupil of the late Johnny Tapia.

This is a good step for Dusty. Torres can fight, he can punch. Glad to see Harrison camp is feeling Dusty is ready for increased competition. They are doing a great job with this young man. Best of luck in NYC!
