The Saturday, August 3 Jeter Promotions card at Club One Fitness in Millersville, MD is starting to take shape. This includes a WBC Fecarbox Middleweight title defense for the promoter.
Stevensville, MD's Tony "Mo Better" Jeter will defend his title in a 10-round contest against Victor Hugo "Magnifico" Correa of Mexico City.
Jeter (15-3-1, 10 KO's) last fought on June 8 in DC but his bout with Jimmy LeBlanc went to a no contest during the first round. In the co-feature contest, undefeated Baltimore welterweight James "Keep 'Em Sleepin'" Stevenson returns to the ring in an eight-round encounter against Joshua Robertson of Lynchburg, VA. Stevenson (18-0, 11 KO's) has not fought since winning a four-round unanimous decision over Damon Antoine in Cockeysville, MD on November 8. Robertson (5-1, one KO) is coming off a six-round unanimous decision over John Terry on June 26 in Ruffin, NC.
