Juan Marshall of ProAm Fight Talk is reporting that DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley's contest slated for Saturday, July 20 in Indio, CA has been called off. Corley tells Marshall that his opponent, Frankie Gomez, suffered a knee injury in training.
Two-time David Price conqueror Tony "The Tiger" Thompson has put out a press release that officially names his wife Sydnee, as his manager and adviser.
"My wife has always played a prominent role in my career," said Thompson in the release. "So now instead of doing it from behind the scenes, she is going to be out front earning her part of the money. She's not only my boss at home, she's now my boss at work.
The 41-year-old Thompson also wanted to inform everyone that he is ready for any kind of action.
"I wanted to take this opportunity to let people know that I am ready, available and willing to listen to all serious offers at this time," Thompson said. "Beating Price in his own hometown twice decisively in a span of six months should show the world that at 41 I still have a lot left in my tank."
The Peterson Brothers have been added to the roster of celebrities that are scheduled to participate in the "Hoops 4 Homeless Youth All-Star Game on Saturday, July 20 at Wise High School in Upper Marlboro, MD. They will join fellow Beltway Boxers Thomas Williams and Dusty Harrison as participants.

Exactly, she was tried of gettin the beat down after the fights and wanted a bigger role in the whole show. Can't be breakin hips fa nothin.
