The main event will have Forestville, MD junior middleweight Alantez "Slyaza" Fox taking on Djolevi Ballogou of Lome, Togo in a six-round encounter. In his last outing, Fox won a six-round unanimous decision over Greg Hackett on March 2 at Rosecroft Raceway in Fort Washington, MD. Ballogou (8-4, six KO's) will be competing for just the second time in the United States, losing a six-round unanimous decision to Wilky Campfort on June 29 in Tampa, FL. Ballogou is a distance fighter, having gone into the 10th, 11th or 12th rounds in four of his last five contests.
Hackett, a native of Philadelphia, PA (2-10), will face another undefeated local on this card in Accokeek, MD's "Swift" Jarrett Hurd in a four-round encounter. Bowie, MD super middleweight "The King's Son" Jerry Odom will take on PJ Cajagas of Illinois in a four-rounder. Cajagas (0-0-1) fought to a four-round draw in his pro debut against Gerald Taylor on June 21 in Elk Grove, IL.
Waldorf, MD junior welterweight Mike "Yes, Indeed" Reed will try to follow a celebrated pro debut on March 2 in Fort Washington where he scored a first-round TKO over Kareem McFarland as he faces a boxer named Cassius Clay who hails from Las Vegas, NV. Clay (0-7) has gone the four-round distance in six of his seven bouts.
In other four-round bouts on the card, Baltimore, MD featherweight Gervonta "Rambo" Davis will take on the debuting Jacob Ninow of Illinois.
