The final registration and physical exams for the event will take place on Saturday, February 9 from 9 AM to noon at the Hillcrest Heights Bingo Hall, 4104 23rd Parkway in Hillcrest Heights, MD. Plan to arrive at 9 AM sharp!
Once again, the first round will begin on Saturday, February 23 at 7:30 PM and will continue each Saturday (March 2, 9, 16) at 7:30 at the Sugar Ray Leonard Center.
The semi-finals will be at the Sugar Ray Leonard Center on Saturday, March 23 at 7:30 PM.
The Washington Golden Gloves finals will take place at the Waldorf Jaycees Community Center, 3090 Crain Highway in Waldorf, MD on Saturday, April 13 at 8 PM.
The Regional Championships (DC/Maryland vs. Virginia/North Carolina) will be on Friday, April 26 at 8 PM at the Waldorf Jaycees.
Remember, three National Golden Gloves champions came out of this tournament in 2012 (Gervonta Davis, Jerry Odom and D'Mitrius Ballard) and six national titles in the last three years (David Grayton and Gary Allen Russell in 2010 and Michael Reed in 2011). I don't know about that...my guy (VA) got decisions over MD guys there, matter of fact, my guy got a decision over a SRL gym fighter in their own gym so....
you won't see any wins for virginia in the finals.
