Congratulations to Baltimore's Lorenzo "Truck" Simpson who won his third straight National Silver Gloves championship this past Saturday in Independence, MO.
Simpson moved up to 119 pounds for this year's event and defeated Raul Aniceto of Elgin, IL in the final bout. Simpson is pictured above with his coach, Calvin Ford.

gary did any other fighters from the dmv fight we usually take a whole team down.
I was told by the Potomac Valley Association that they didn't have a large representation at the regionals this year. South Atlantic had a couple of other boxers, I was told.
