Chop is still able to fight and make some money but in my opinion he should check out before is too late. Last night Lange took a real beating from Jeter and is just too sad to see these young fighters give so much to the sport and end up with severe injuries. I hope Lange is ok and does not end up with any brain injury. The same for Corley, his better days are behind him. While still in good shape is time to get a 9 to 5 and possibly give back by helping young fighters. Also by leading by example to show when is time to retire. Taking these fights with much younger, stronger, skillful fighters is a hard way to make a living. I am a fan from way back in the amateur days and is time for Chop to hang it up. Can he still fights? Yes he can but is not the healthiest way to make some chump change. Is the big fight coming? Most likely not. I hope he or someone close to him realize that he will always be a champ and is time to say goodbye.

I agree with your sentiment, but I don't believe the Jeter-Lange statement is appropiate as Lange is only about 1 year older than Jeter.Hoepfully, Chop Chop has spent his money well and will enjoy a nie retirement whenever he chooses to hang up the gloves.

Chop is still competing at the highest level of competition. To compare him in the same sentence of Lange and Jeter is a disgrace. Lange is a burnt out fighter and performs like it. Thats not the case with Chop. He lost to an up and coming contender. Jeter...he never was anything to begin with.

Lange noy only looked like an old fighter, he fought like one. Jeter exposed what happens to fighters when they stay in the game far too long. Chop is still holding his own I agree. I'm just saying stop while ahead before is too late. Jeter has not been in too many fights where he took a lot of punishment. That is the difference, no wear and tear. Give Jeter the credit that he deserves, he fought like a champ. Lange is done, if anyone knows anything about boxing, they would agree and realize these guys are done. BOXING IS A YOUNG MAN'S SPORT.

I agree to get out before its too late, but who knows, maybe Chop doesn't have any other option to make this kind of money? I'm not sayin he's making 100's of thousands but still, to walk away from 10's of thousands a dollars a fight is not easy to do, especially when there isn't any other way for someone to make that kind of money.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not sayin Chop doesn't have anything else. I'm sayin I don't know if he does or not, and its not easy to pass up those decent payin fights.
