Update on September 22 Card in Millersville!

More bouts have been added to the Saturday, September 22 Jeter Promotions card at Club One Fitness in Millersville, MD.

There will be a six-round contest for the vacant USBU (United States Boxing Union) heavyweight title.  Undefeated "Slick" Nick Kisner of Ferndale, MD will take on Norfolk, VA's Dennis Benson.  Kisner (10-0-1, five KO's) makes his first appearance in 2012 with this bout.  Kisner last fought on August 19 of last year and won a four-round unanimous decision over Rayshawn Myers in Baltimore, MD.  Benson (1-3, one KO) has lost three straight since winning his pro debut.

In a six-round middleweight rematch, Baltimore, MD's "The Golden Greek" Elias Bouloubassis battles Stephen Franklin of Martinsburg, WVA.  The undefeated Bouloubassis (7-0-5, five KO's) is coming off a first-round TKO of William Armstead on July 14 in Washington, DC.  Franklin (0-7) last fought on February 25 at Club One and lost a four-round unanimous decision to Lee Snow.  The last time Bouloubassis and Franklin met was in June of 2011 in Baltimore and Bouloubassis won a four-round unanimous decision.

Also on the card, Upper Marlboro, MD heavyweight Duane Mobley will take on Dave Fleming of Lynchburg, VA in a six-round contest.  Mobley (4-0, three KO's) scored a first-round TKO over Ryan Shay on the July 14th card in DC.  Fleming (2-1, one KO) will be trying to bounce back after suffering his first pro loss -- a four-round unanimous decision to Franklin Edmondson on August 18 in Greensboro, NC.

Baltimore, MD middleweight Dan Cannaday returns to face DC's Issa Coulibaly in a four-round contest.  Cannaday (1-0) has not fought since making his pro debut and winning a four-round unanimous decision over Stephen Franklin in March of 2011 in Ranson, WVA.  By contrast, Coulibaly (0-2) was in the ring this past Saturday in DC and lost a four-round unanimous decision to Farrad Price.

As BATB mentioned earlier, the main event features Tony "Mo Better" Jeter (13-3-1, nine KO's) battling Tyrel Brown (7-2, seven KO's) for the WBC Fecarbox Middleweight title.  Undefeated Beltway Boxers Venroy "Hard Work" July and James "Keep Em' Sleepin'" Stevenson are also slated to appear on the card.
