When Boxing Along The Beltway first started in 2005, one of my goals was to make the boxing scene in this area a viable one for other media outlets in our area. That goal has been achieved. BATB has also been, and will continue to be, a source that will work with, not compete against, those other outlets who want to showcase our boxing talent.
This is a prime example of what we're talking about. Earlier, I posted an audio version of the latest BATB Post-Fight Wrap-Up show. Four media outlets combined to make this a reality this time out. The show was also videotaped and I feel it was so good that I had to post this as well. Kudos go to Juan Marshall of ProAmFightTalk and Michael Walters of Bleacher Report/Boxing Talk for their on-air comments.
Special thanks to Brent Powell of 4th Street Films who shot and edited the show and made all of us look good. We hope to do more like this in the future and there is another outlet that I am in negotiations with to do another form of boxing show.
