Jeter to Battle For WBC Fecarbox Title September 22 In Millersville!

The Jeter Promotions card on Saturday, September 22 at Club One Fitness in Millersville, MD will feature the head of the organization in a pretty important title bout.

BATB has learned that Stevensville, MD middleweight Tony "Mo Better" Jeter will battle for the vacant WBC Fecarbox Middleweight title when he faces Tyrel Brown of Gibson, OK in an eight-round contest.

Jeter (13-3-1, nine KO's) is coming off an eight-round unanimous decision victory over Jose Felix for the UBO All-Americas title on February 25 at Club One. Brown (7-2, 1 NC, seven KO's) will be trying to bounce back from a first-round knockout loss to undefeated George Tahdooahnippah also on February 25 in Newkirk, OK.  This will be Brown's first bout out of the state of Oklahoma.

We hope to announce other bouts on this card next week.

What happened to Jeter v Lange?

Jeter-Lange is still a possibility for October 27 at the Patriot Center.

Good for Tony, get that belt! You deserve it!

Even if it is a possibility there is no sense in going to the fight because almost everybody knows that the fix is in some way or another.
boxing in this area has turned in to a circus of who can sell tickets and get a fight pre decided for them.
Not saying every fighter is like that but alot of the fighters who call themselves main events want their fight outcome pre arranged for them.
Isn't that right Mr Lange,Mr Sigmon,Mr Jeter and on and on and on.

Gary, is the Fecarbox title recognized by the WBC and if so is it a legitimate word title ranking you number 1 in the WBC?

Gary Digital Williams said...

It is indeed recognized by the WBC as the Central American Boxing Federation. It does not give you a number one ranking in the world but it does give you a top 40 ranking in the WBC.

Lange has shot his wad in this area.
When the boy from texas stopped him
everyone got the idea.
Yea I know your saying he didn't stop him.Lange suffered brain damage from that fight and it should have been stopped three or four times.
