The large contingent of Beltway Boxers hit the scales at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ yesterday.
Paul Williams, who trains full-time here in the area, is in the main event in the nationally-televised (HBO) rematch against Sergio Martinez for the vacant WBC Middleweight championship. Williams came in at 156 while Martinez weighed in at 157 1/4.
Tony Thompson will face Paul Marinaccio in the 10-round co-feature. Thompson weighed 250 1/2 while Marinaccio tipped the scales at 228.
Fernando Guerrero weighed in at 159 for his bout with late replacement and veteran Saul Duran, who came in at 161 1/2.
Bayan Jargal tipped the scales at 142 1/2 for his bout with Steve Upshur Chambers, who weighed in at 143 1/2.
