One of the great aspects of the Beltway Boxing Community is the way a large number of Beltway Boxing legends are giving back to the community by passing along their knowledge of the sweet science.
A number of former Beltway greats are coaches and trainers and either work or own gyms that are designed for youth and adults to train and, in some cases, stay out of trouble.
The mainstream media continues to pick up on this aspect. The Voice of America's "American Life" program profiles former IBC Lightweight champ Keely Thompson for his continued work in his gym. That piece can be found here with a video attached:

Holmes has given back but Keely Thompson has been indicted recently for stealing money from the kids. He actually purchased himself a BMW with money that was supposed to buy a 15 passanger van.
