preIt is going to be a good fight but i think George has the experience. George by late round stoppage.
I Bet daddy won't let his little boy Mark ("TNT") Tucker fight Alexander ("THE GREAT") Johnson antime soon or it will (DEFINITELY!!!) be his first lost!!! He Know it and so does daddy. You can bet the (FARM)(Hank Williams Jr.) on that one Lol.LMAO.LLS.ROTFL.SMH. and last but not least HAHAHA.
Any predictions on the fight at hand?
This is really a tough one. George is and always has been tough. But Mark has come a long way in a very short period of time.
A lot depends on whether George really has come back well from his layoff. That's a major jump in competition from Billy Johnson to Mark Tucker.
This is a bout that, in my opinion, defines the phrase "pick'em."
Alexander Johnson? His opponents have a combined 17-24 record! he still fights 4 rounders! His name shouldn't even be mentioned along with Tuckers, u obviosly have very little knowledge.
Johnson cant fight, no promoter, no manager, hes going nowhere. Hes just average at best.
I dont know why people in this area keep wanting our boxer's to fight each other? Why not go out and fight boxer's from around the country get some exposure and try to win a belt' forget all this i'm the king of this area BS. Al and Mark faced each other in the amatuers and in sparring. Al had the better amatuer career Al went the furthest in the usa's, and the golden gloves. So for people to talk about him only fighting 4 rounders and fighting bums meens nothing Al is the better fighter, but let them focus on other people and build up thier records and try to win BELTS.
amateur boxing is not pro boxing.
Its not about "building up your record" it is about getting better as a PRO! Its not about talking about what a great amateur u were...
Look I'm strictly speaking of Mark and Al and U can say what u will but I've seen them spar each other and Al "BEAT" his Face to a Bloody Pulp!!! Purely out classed the dude with no answers for a vicious assault. Tucker is Overrated in my Opinion which is just that, My Opinion.
man when will they give someone who should be fighting for that belt.... i say a good fight will be tucker an alexander the great.... thts in my eyes...
tell me this 4 the ones wit all the talk y hasnt it happen yet the great is hands down the best right now in his wght in MD D.C an VA...
oh an reason i say it will be a good fight is due to them never fighting b4 for the record they never fought....
When I last talked to Alexander Johnson (at the last Du Burns Card Thanksgiving eve), he gave me overtures about fighting Corey Cummings for the Maryland State Super Middleweight crown.
His trainers seem to be saying the same thing. I don't think Tucker's in his plans yet.
Amatuer boxing and pro boxing aren't the same, but most great amatuers usually turn into great pro's. Most guy's that were bum's in the amatuer's usually are bum's and become journey men in the pro's.
Alexander Johnson and his trainers better watch what they ask for.
If u dont build up ur record, how are u going to get better. U need to fight often and steadly improve ur competition. U also need to fight people outside of ur area in order to get exposure. And for other naysayer's amatuer boxing is very important in teaching a person thier skills and technique. Most great amatuer's turn into great pro's, look at all the current champ's, from my count only 2 didn't have great amatuer career's and thats B-Hopkins and Pac-man. The rest were all great amatuer's
Hey Champ lets keep it real since you actually posted as yourself I'm kind of proud of you, lol!, now back to the topic at hand, I usually don't entertain blogs but, this one I couldn't resits, Mark, you know all it take is for you to get pops to let your hand go and sign a contract it's that simple I'm ready today!!!but your brain ain't mush yet and neither is your pops.
"The Great"
Hey Gary Digital Williams, be honest don't you agree this one would be great for the fans in the Beltway area?
It's defintely a great fight, but it shouldn't really happen until a year from now. Hopefully both guys will have built great records so they can't avoid each other.
Shane Mosely and Bernard Hopkins have just purchased a table for the December 19th. fights at Rosecroft. Someone must be signed with Golden Boy or they are looking at a boxer who is on the card.
Thursday,
Alexander johnson is a good up and coming fighter. His opponets are suspect though however they are building him up. Mark needs to be worried about Armenta because if he takes a lose and Armenta decides to stay at light heavy that would be a good one as well.
what kind of garbage talk is this? People need to be real. Johnson has ONE WIN over a fighter with a record over .500 and he is fighting 6 rounders. Tucker is fighting his third ten rounder tomorrow.
THINK PEOPLE THINK!
- Beltway Best
Just to let everyone know Mark Jr has been busy making weight and did not read, reply or post anything on this blog or any other.
No disrespect to Al or any one else. We have a plan and are sticking to it and thus far it is working. Also with a belt defenses must be approved by the santioning bodys. Not by others or people posing as others.
In general the post here are usually full of anomosity towards one another and not the betterment of the sport or of the areas fighters.
Respectfully,
Mark Tucker Sr
