Congratulations to Temple Hills, MD middleweight D'Mitrius Ballard who has made the USA team that will compete in the 2009 AIBA World Junior Boxing Championships in Yerevan, Armenia May 23-30.
The event, formerly known as the Cadet World Championships, features the top 15 and 16-year old in the world in what is often a showcase for future Olympians. The team will convene in Chula Vista, CA from May 13-21 before heading to Armenia. There will be more than 285 boxers from 39 countries.
