Undefeated Eldersburg, MD light heavyweight Mark "TNT" Ticker will headline the Maryland Boxing Club's first pro show on Friday, February 20 at the Shipley Arena located at the Carroll County AG Center in Westmnister, MD.
Tucker (6-0, five KO's) is slated to battle Richard Stewart of New Castle, DE (14-7-2, eight KO's) in a bout that is scheduled to be Tucker's first scheduled eight-round encounter. Tucker last fought on November 1 in Las Vegas, winning a six-round unanimous decision over Terrence Wilson. Stewart is winless in his last four (0-3-1) and he was stopped by Andre Hemphill in the third round in his last outing on September 19 in Hockessin, DE.
Also scheduled to appear on this card are undefeated Laurel, MD heavyweight "The Big Ticket" Dwayne McCrae and Baltimore, MD heavy Askia Snyder, who may actually get his pro debut in this year. You'll remember Snyder has a no-contest on his record for his involvement in the bout before the bout with Jonathan Felton last year in Glen Burnie.
Other boxers slated for this card are Dean "Pit Bull" White and Dontre King.
The Maryland Boxing Club should not be confused with the University of Maryland Boxing Club which is strictly an amateur organization.
