Peterson, Barnett, Tucker Victorious in Las Vegas!

Three undefeated Beltway Boxers remained undefeated tonight at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

DC junior welterweight Lamont "Havoc" Peterson won a 10-round unanimous decision over Lanardo "Pain Server" Tyner of Houston, TX to capture the interim NABF Junior Welterweight title on the Pay-Per-View portion of the card. The scores were 98-91, 99-87, 99-90, despite Peterson losing a point in the fourth round for a low blow. Peterson is now 26-0, 12 KO's while Tyner is now 19-2, 11 KO's.

On the non-televised undercard, DC junior welterweight Ty Barnett raised his record to 16-0-1, 11 KO's with an six-round majority decision over Johnnie Edwards of Jacksonville, NC. The scores were 57-57, 59-54, 59-55. Edwards is now 14-3-1, eight KO's.

Also, Eldersburg, MD light heavyweight Mark "TNT" Tucker went the distance for the first time in his young pro career and scored a six-round shutout victory over Terrence "The Truth" Wilson of Fort Smith, AK. Tucker won the bout 60-54 on all three of the judge's scorecards and is now 6-0, five KO's. Wilson falls to 5-4, three KO's.
