Scale Watch from Glen Burnie!

Here are the weights for tomorrow night's Ballroom Boxing card at Michael's Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, MD:

Mike Paschall 166 vs. Larry Marks 171 1/4

Seth Mitchell 243 1/4 vs. Alexis Cruz Medina 241 1/4

Danny Kisner 231 1/4 vs. Kevin Johnson 201 1/4

Jonathan Felton 224 3/4 vs. Harvey Jolley 196

Carney Bowman 131 3/4 vs. Edward Valdez 131

William Jeter 173 1/4 vs. Calvin Aughtrey 171 1/4

The "rematch" between Felton and Baltimore's Askia Snyder will not take place because Snyder suffered injured ribs reportedly while sparring with Tony Thompson. Jolley of Adrian, MI (7-8-1, four KO's) is a fill-in who has fought twice before in the Ballroom, losing by first-round knockout to Horace Grant in November 2007 and stopping Richard Gingras in the third round on the April 3 Ballroom card. Eight days later, Jolley lost a four-round unanimous decision to Kasim Howard in Miami Florida.

Jeter, a native of Brooklyn, NY, is undefeated (1-0, one NC) and won his last bout --a four-round majority decision over Corey Washington on May 3 in District Heights, MD.

Seth weighed in under 225? Didn't he fight at like 244 before? Either that's a typo, or he has really rededicated himself to changing his body and perhaps his style after his draw last time...probably not a bad thing.

Thanks for the catch! That was a typo. Seth's real weight is up now.

Someone said Askia was beating the crap out of Tony he got mad and hit Askia after the bell rang when they were sparring. Than Askia sparred with Seth beat the crap out of him for 3 rounds than Seth punched Askia in the same spot that tony hit him,got mad and told his manager to get him a fight with Seth after he beat up Felton, next day he woke up could not breath went to the doctors who told him his ribs were broken.Anybody heard anything about this drama?

Me and my friends bought some tickets from B F C to watch Askia fight we watched this guy train he looked great,We saw his trainer beat the hell out of his body with shots that would knock downa house.Hard to believe he got hurt from a body shot. His trainer told us hard for him to believe But that he was not a doctor, and would stand by his fighter because he had ASKIA SPAR A GUY THAT KNOCKED OUT fELTON and Askia beat the guy up both times he sparred real good.He did give us back our money, we would have prefered to have seen the fight.

Why is Askia sparring with a guy who is preparing to fight Klitscho for a world title a week before the fight. Sounds dumb to me!!!!!!!

Hey dudes i heard that Tony played with both guys and really took it easy on both Askia and Seth, Face the facts contact sports you can get hurt even in training, and it is not uncommon to spar up to about 4-5 days before a fight.Ask any real fighter if preparing for a fight would they prefer to Spar a bum or a real experienced fighter . Hands down they'll tell you they would prefer the experienced fighter to spar with it can only help them be better, So for all those guys who have never personally trained a fighter,Don't make comments on something you have no hands on experience dealing with. You only make yourself look like a JERK

Me fight anybody Me fight anybody, But me not going to take me fight If me no can give 100 percent. It's Me record and name at stake. Me only want to spar de best, Me De one say get me better sparring ,Me no want to spar bums da no can help me be better.Me only want to spar de best because me is da best T.N .T Me told me trainer me fight both da dudes in same night if me not hurt.Me already beat de dude dat knock out Felton dat is da truth. Me bust him up both times me spar him. Because me hands are T.N.T.

A real fighter fights even when he is hurt Thats just my opinion. If you are so great Mr Askia Why can't you fight with a little pain, I mean after all are you not in the pain business. Dah

Hey guys is it possible that Seth is the real one that hurt Askia's ribs?I mean if Askia was hurt by Tony Why would he contiune to go on and spar Seth, Unless he was not really hurt that bad by Tony's shot.I mean after all Askias's coach must not have thought he was hurt that bad, and it looks like Askia did not upject to going a few more rounds . If he was really hurt why would he spar 3 or 4 more rounds knowing he had a fight coming up soon . I mean after all the guys coach is not a mind readed , I would think if Askia was hurt that bad he would have said something to his coach after he was done sparring Tony don't you think. It all sounds a little Weird to me.

Whats with Felton Beating up a cruiserweight you call that a good sub Come on Chris You call yourself a matchmaker Really Scotty us fans deserve so much more than a butt hole miss match Really You mean Chris could not do better than finding a cruiserweight to fight a vetern heavyweightAs a matchmaker you should NO BETTER Please I think me and my friends will pass on this one Scotty We were looking forward to seeing the two heavyweights get it on.Oh well maybe next time.

Askia was badly injured the only one whom wanted him to continue was his coach. Everyone else in the gym said he was done. Tony had did 4 rounds apiece with both guys. This was Tony's first day of sparring just to shake out a little bit before heading to camp. Tony was tired he was up late the night before until about
3am. Anyone that thinks Askia or even Seth beat Tony put your name on it,...thats a insult. It's hard to find good sparring in the area its a small pool of fighters, Tony would never do intentionally to put a fighter out, but dont try to show off trying to see how you compare to someone getting ready to fight for the biggest match of there career!!!Thats every fighters dream!!! See u get your ribs broke/ injured trying to show off

Heard that Askias trainer said Tony took it easy on both fighters and did not look like Askia was really hurt because Askia said he was ok.His trainer said Tony told both of them that he would work lightly before they started and that what he did, he said Tony was a real gentleman, before, durning and after there sparring.

Felton got hammered tonight, Jolly can fight. Felton is flat out flat out done, reflexes gone, out of shape.

Pascall fought a very good fight, shutout Marks on two cards. I truly believe Pascall should drop to middleweight, it is five pounds. Watched Mike since he was an amateur, have a lot of respect for him, however he isn't big enough to hurt guys at super middle or light heavyweight. I realize he works full-time, has a family, but he is a slick fighter, can move and can take a punch. I would love him to get down that extra five pounds, either way he had a great win tonight.

Carney Bowman is a VERY bright prospect, he looked great tonight against a game fighter. Wagner put on a well matched card, nice job BALLROOM!

Oh yeah, hope Mr. Kisner is ok, looked like his shoulder was badly damaged. . .hope he ends his flirtation as a fighter and just works as a trainer.

Seth give us a break you beat up a guy that could not throw a correct punch if his life depended on it. Do we have to sit back and watch you beat up a bunch of guys that can't fight to . This seems to be the kind of fights that Chris makes, anyone can make matches like that. What happened to kisner?Chris you forgot to tell his oppoent he was not brought in to win,the darn dummy if we knew he was going to make a fight of it we would have kept his ass home huh.Just my thoughts

Felton may have got knocked out in the first round by a guy that weighted only 195 lbs in under 30 seconds.but aleast he had the balls to show up. He went out on his Sheild. You can teach a guys skills you can not teach HEART And Mr.Felton showed that he has heart. Good Job Mr Felton Sir.

Mr Wagner were did you dig up the guy that fought Seth, That guy looked like he has never had a pair of gloves on before. How Did Pat allow this guy to fight He could have been killed. This guy displayed NO skills his punches were more like slaps.I think the guy that fought Felton would have made a better match. Please Mr Wagner keep Chris in check That truly was Poor match making be honest don't you think

Mike looked good tonight but everyone around me wanted to see him stop doing so much running. It really makes for a boring fight. But nonetheless good job Mike, Keep doing what your doing if it works don't fix it know what i mean. Just my thoughts
