Former WBO Junior Welterweight champion DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley has an opponent for his bout on Friday, November 30 in Tampa, FL. Corley (31-6-1, 17 KO's) will take on veteran Dairo Jose Esalas of Brea, CA by way of Colombia (29-10, 24 KO's) in an eight-round bout.
Corley has lost his last two bouts -- a WBC Junior Welterweight title bout against Junior Witter in September of 2006 and his last outing, an eight-round TKO loss to Jose Alfaro on May 12 in Managua, Nicaragua.
Esalas has lost five in a row, including a fifth-round technical decision to Jesus Rodriguez on Sept. 13 in San Jose, CA.
