Capitol Heights, MD's Gary Russell, Jr. is definitely on the march toward the 119-pound Olympic berth.
Russell stopped Sergio Perales of Los Fresnos, TX at 1:36 of the second round tonight in Houston, TX in the Challenger's Bracket.
UPDATE: Russell will now face Ronny Rios of Santa Ana, CA tonight in the finals of the Challenger's Bracket. Should Russell win, he would get a rematch with Roberto Marraquin tomorrow. Again, Russell will have to beat Marraquin twice to win the berth.
