Anyone know of any places (sports bars, for example) in DC or Northern VA that show boxing events? Also, this is probably a dumb question, but what exactly are elimination bouts?

Mouse, knock his ass out!!! ACW, call Terrence again if you need tickets or a ride to either August 19th or Oct. 7th.

Elimination bouts are "supposed" to decide who are the top contenders in certain weight classes.

What they REALLY are: cheap ways for the governing bodies (WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO) to make money!

Thanks Digital.

Mike-will do (I'm gonna try to go to both).

Simple question: why are there FOUR governing bodies for one sport?? That IMO is one of the bigger problems with boxing-do any other sports do that?

Mouse, when that time comes during the fight to put him out,...DO SO!
