On Saturday, June 19th at the Jamil Shrine Temple in Columbia, SC, two Beltway Boxers scored first-round knockout victories.
Lanham, MD light heavyweight Aaron "The Wolf" Thorne III remained undefeated by stopping the debuting Jared Baines of Wilson, NC. The time of the knockout was 2:36. Thorne is now 4-0, three KO's.
Oxon Hill, MD welterweight Akeem "Action Action" Jackson needed just 21 seconds to knock out Jahterris Lewis of Wilson. Jackson raised his record to 5-2, five KO's with his last four knockouts all coming in the first round. Lewis is now 0-4 and has yet to get out of the first round.
