Frederick, MD super welterweight Jonathan Ryan "Lion King" Burrs will compete in a four-round bout against Brian "The Hunter" Polaco of Fajardo, Puerto Rico on Friday, October 2nd at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, FL. The bout will be televised live on Telemundo. The broadcast begins at midnight ET.
Burrs (2-2) looks to bounce back from a four-round unanimous decision loss to the debuting Javier Martinez on July 14th in Las Vegas, NV. Polaco, a member of the Puerto Rican National team (2-0, two KO's), has scored first-round knockouts in both of his previous bouts, including a win over Joshua Sikes on September 4th in Kissimmee. Polaco has fought both of his bouts in Kissimmee and this will be his third bout in six weeks.
