Breedy Heads Into WBC Featherweight Eliminator Against Nyambayar September 19th In Connecticut!

DCMikeTV is reporting that undefeated Hyattsville, MD featherweight Cobia "The Soldier" Breedy is a late replacement for a WBC Featherweight title eliminator bout against Tugstsogt "King Tug" Nyambayar of Los Angeles, CA by way of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on Saturday, September 19th at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT.  The bout will be shown on Showtime.

Breedy (15-0, five KO's) replaces Eduardo Ramirez, who could not compete due to undisclosed issues. Breedy, who is unranked in any of the ratings, is coming off an impressive sixth-round TKO over Titus Williams on December 7th in Brooklyn, NY.  Nyambayar (11-1, nine KO's) looks to bounce back from his only pro loss, a 12-round unanimous decision to Gary Russell, Jr. for the WBC title on February 8th in Allentown, PA.

If Breedy wins the bout, then he would be in a position to challenge Russell for the WBC title.
