Beltway Judge Wallace To Work WBO Lightweight Title Bout July 28th in Florida!

Congratulations to Beltway-based judge Paul Wallace who will be one of the three judges for the bout for the vacant WBO Lightweight championship between number one ranked Christopher "Pitufo" Diaz of Barranquitas, Puerto Rico (23-0, 15 KO's) and number two ranked Masayuki Ito of Tokyo, Japan (23-1-1, 12 KO's).  The bout will be held on Saturday, July 28th at the Kissimmee Civic Center in Kissimmee, FL and will be shown on ESPN+.

Wallace has judged a number of world title bouts since his career began in 2008, including the IBF Super Middleweight bout between Andre Dirrell and Jose Uzcategui in May of 2017 at the MGM National Harbor Casino in Oxon Hill, MD, the WBO Super Featherweight championship between Vasyl Lomachenko and Jason Sosa in April of 2017 at the MGM Casino and the WBO Super Welterweight championship between Jessie Vargas and Sadam Ali at the DC Armory in Washington, DC in March of 2016.  Wallace has judged contests around the world including in Canada, Argentina and China, but the Diaz-Ito bout will be his first world title bout outside the Beltway region.
