Columbia, MD super middleweight Ashton "The Goon" Sykes will be in action in a six-round contest against Angel Martinez on Friday, December 8 at the Bryan Glazer Family JCC Auditorium in Tampa, FL.
Sykes (1-0) makes a quick jump to six-round contests after winning his pro debut by four-round unanimous decision over Jeffrey Wright on August 12th in Madison, WI. Martinez (7-9-3, two KO's) returns to action for the first time since winning by second-round TKO over Martez Barnes in May of 2015 in Augusta, GA. Martinez also lost by fifth-round TKO to Immanuwel Aleem in November of 2014 in Chester, PA.
