Baltimore, MD cruiserweight "Slick" Nick Kisner will be making his first overseas voyage as he will travel to Charleroi, Belgium for a 12-round contest against undefeated Ryad Merhy on Saturday, December 16th at the Spiroudome Arena.
Kisner (19-3-1, six KO's) comes off an eight-round split decision victory over Lamont Singletary on March 30th in Glen Burnie, MD. That win earned Kisner the NABA USA Cruiserweight title. Kisner has never been the 12-round distance.
Merhy (23-0, 19 KO's) is a native of the Ivory Coast and is the reigning WBA Intercontinental Cruiserweight champion. The bout will be for Merhy's title. Merhy defended the title on May 20th in Charleroi and won a 12-round unanimous decision over Mitch Williams.
