Middleweight Troy Isley has concluded his international trip with a bronze medal at the 2017 Men's Elite World Championships in Hamburg, Germany.
Isley lost his semifinal match against Oleksandr Khyzhniak of the Ukraine by a 4-1 score. Team USA will have two bronze medals and one boxer, Duke Regan of Cincinnati, OH, going for a gold medal in the championship on Saturday. This is the best showing for the Americans at the Elite Championships since 1999.
