Middleweight Troy Isley of Alexandria, VA has moved into the semifinals of the 2017 AIBA Elite Men's Championships in Hamburg, Germany.
Isley won his quarter final bout by a 3-2 decision over Israil Madrimov of Uzbekistan in Tuesday's action. This means Isley will finish with no worse than a bronze medal. Isley is one of three Americans still left in the tournament.
Wednesday is a rest day for all competitors. Isley will return on Thursday with a semifinal contest against Oleksandr Khyzhniak of the Ukraine.

the jury decision was unfair. Isley shouldn't have been in the semi-final.
