Gervonta Davis has been stripped of the IBF Super Featherweight championship because he came in too heavy in his bout against Francisco Fonseca at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
Davis came in at 132 pounds, two pounds more than the 130-pound limit while Fonseca came in at the 130-pound limit. If Davis wins the bout, the IBF title will be vacated. Fonseca can win the title with a victory over Davis.
