Reisterstown, MD amateur champion Lorenzo Simpson is in Frankfurt, Germany at this hour preparing to compete in the Brandenburg Cup tournament that will be held August 1-5.
Simpson is a member of the United States Youth National Team and is ranked number one in the nation in the Youth 165-Pound class. Recently, Simpson won the 165-Pound championship at the Junior Olympics Youth and Prep Open Tournament in Charleston, WVA. Simpson then headed to the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO for nine days of training.
