Undefeated Forestville, MD middleweight Alantez "SlyAza" Fox will be participating on a card at the Jaragua Renaissance Hotel and Casino in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on Wednesday. Fox will take on veteran Euri "Milion" Gonzalez of Hollywood, FL by way of Santo Domingo in a bout scheduled for either six, eight or 10 rounds.
Fox (22-0-1, 10 KO's) won the vacant WBC USNBC Middleweight title in his last outing, capturing a 10-round unanimous decision over Ronald McNeil on February 25th in Birmingham, AL. Fox is ranked 14th in the world by both the WBA and the IBF. Gonzalez (24-9-1, 16 KO's) will be trying to break a six-bout losing streak -- all six of those losses coming in the Dominican Republic.
Fox weighed in at 162 pounds while Gonzalez came in at 158 pounds.
