Three more Beltway amateurs have won national titles over the past two days of competition at the Junior Olympic, Prep National and Youth Championships at the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, WVA.
Today's action saw Khaliq Harrison of Fort Washington, MD win the Bantam 95 Pound championship with a 5-0 decision over Mario Rodriguez of Providence, RI. Also, Jalil Hackett of Washington, DC earned the Intermediate 114 Pound title with a 3-2 win over Gustavo Garrido of San Antonio, TX.
During Thursday's competition, Kairee Kelly of DC won the Pee Wee 8 Open/65 Pounds championship with a 5-0 decision over Kartiere Gilmore of Solon, OH.
Along with Candice Carter's national title win in the Youth Female 112 Pound championship earlier in the week, Beltway Boxers have so far won four national titles.
