Baltimore, MD's Gervonta "Tank" Davis successfully defended his IBF Super Featherweight title with a brutal third-round stoppage of mandatory challenger Liam Walsh of England tonight at the Copperbox Arena in London, England.
Davis imposed his will on the slightly-taller Walsh and subsequently broke the challenger down in front of his home fans throughout the bout. Davis would knock Walsh down with an overhand right in the first minute of the third round before the bout was stopped at 1:11 seconds.
Davis is now 18-0, 17 KO's while Walsh loses for the first time and he is now 21-1, 14 KO's.
