Scott Sigmon tipped the scales at 162.8 pounds for his 10-round contest against Matt Korobov tonight at the Osceola Heritage Center in Kissimmee, FL. The card is scheduled to be televised on UniMas. Korobov weighed 162.6.
Sigmon, from Lynchburg, VA (27-9-1, 15 KO's) is coming off a fourth-round TKO over Jeremy Broadwine on September 10 in Salem, VA. Korobov, a native of Orotukan, Russia now competing out of St. Petersburg, FL(26-1, 14 KO's), last fought on June 25 and won an eight-round unanimous decision over Brian Vera in Dallas, TX. Korobov's only loss came in an opportunity for the WBO Middleweight title in December of 2014 when he faced Andy Lee in Las Vegas, NV. Korobov was stopped in the sixth round.
