Hurd Remains Undefeated With Sixth-Round TKO Over Dan In Philadelphia!

Accokeek, MD super welterweight "Swift" Jarrett Hurd continued his streak of impressive victories with a sixth-round TKO of former world title contender Jo Jo Dan of Montreal, Quebec, Canada Saturday night at the Temple University Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, PA.  The bout was televised nationally by Spike TV.

Hurd never knocked Dan down but he battered Dan throughout the bout, eventually forcing the Romanian-born boxer's corner to ask referee Benjy Esteves, Jr. to stop the bout at 1:06 of the sixth round.

Hurd is now 19-0, 13 KO's while Dan falls to 35-4, 18 KO's. Hurd has knocked out his last five opponents, who had a combined won-loss record of 93-14-5.  Four of those opponents were undefeated when they faced Hurd.
