Laurel, MD middleweight Demond "D Best At It" Nicholson now has an opponent for the Saturday, February 27 card at the Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC.
Nicholson (15-1, 15 KO's) will face Victor Kpadenou of Cotonou, Benin (10-10, five KO's) in a six-round bout that will be fought at a catchweight of 164 pounds. Nicholson is coming off a first-round TKO win over Milton Nunez on October 17 in Fairfax, VA. Kpadenou has traveled extensively throughout his career fighting in seven countries. Kpadenou last fought on January 22 and lost a four-round unanimous decision to Godson Noel in Philadelphia, PA. However, Kpadenou has fought six times in 12-round bouts including one for the IBF International Super Welterweight title. Kpadenou lost that bout in August of 2005 by unanimous decision.
