Former WBO Junior Welterweight champion DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley scored a sixth-round TKO over previously undefeated Osama Hadifi of Copenhagen, Denmark on February 26 at the Cerus Arena in Aarhus, Denmark.
The 41-year-old Corley, now fighting as a lightweight, dropped Hadifi in the second round. After escaping a knockdown in the third, Corley took control of the bout, taking Hadifi past the fourth round for the first time in his career. Hadifi began to tire and Corley scored a standing eight in the sixth round before forcing the referee to stop the bout at 42 seconds of the sixth.
Corley breaks a four-bout losing streak with the win and raises his record to 43-26-1, 26 KO's. Hadifi is now 11-1, 11 KO's.
