DC welterweight David "Day Day" Grayton bounced back from a first-round knockdown to stop Daniel Souza Santos of Sao Paulo, Brazil in the third round tonight at the Seminole Casino in Immokalee, FL.
According to Ross Molovinsky, who was onsite, Grayton's knee touched the canvas in the first round but he was not seriously hurt. Grayton came back strong in the second round using a solid body attack to drop Santos. The Brazilian could not answer the bell for the third round.
Grayton remains undefeated at 14-0, 10 KO's while Santos is 14-10, 11 KO's.
