The opponent for undefeated DC welterweight Dusty Hernandez Harrison has changed once again.
HBO turned down the choice of Samuel Amoako for a replacement for Harrison's original opponent, Steve Claggett. Harrison (28-0, 15 KO's) will now take on former world title challenger Ammeth Diaz of Panama City, Panama in the 10-round contest. Diaz (32-12, 23 KO's) challenged for the IBF Lightweight title in January 2012 and lost a 12-round unanimous decision to Miguel Vasquez. Diaz will look to bounce back from a third-round TKO loss to Walter Castillo on July 11 in Tampa, FL.
In other Harrison news, the 21-year old DC native has signed a multi-year endorsement deal with FILA. Harrison will wear FILA-branded apparel and footwar exclusively.
