Fox, Guerrero Capture Victories In Mississippi!

Forestville, MD's Alantez "SlyAza" Fox scored a fourth-round TKO over Todd Manuel of Rayne, LA Friday at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, MS.

According to Cliff Rold of BoxingScene.com, Fox was sharp from the opening bell as he landed shots to the body and right hands to the head.  Fox dropped Manuel in the third round and Manuel complained of blurred vision after the fourth.  Manuel could not come out for the fifth round and the bout was stopped.

Fox, scoring his second win this month. remains undefeated at 18-0-1, seven KO's.  Manuel, who took this bout on less than a week notice, is now 10-10-1, one KO.

On the televised (Spike TV) portion of this card, Fernando "The Warrior" Guerrero, a Salisbury, MD resident who fights out of Los Angeles, CA, battered Daniel Souza Santos of Sao Paulo, Brazil for seven rounds before stopping him at 1:45 of the seventh.

Guerrero started slowly but eventually wore down Santos as he landed punches in bunches before the bout was eventually stopped.  Guerrero raises his record to 28-3, 20 KO's while Santos falls to 14-9, 11 KO's.
