Quarles, Kisner, Breedy Added To Saturday's Card in Springfield!

A number of Beltway Boxers have been added to the Jeter Promotions/RBA Promotions card on Saturday, March 28 at the ABC Sports Complex in Springfield, VA.

"The Pride of Alexandria (VA)" Brandon Quarles will be in a eight-round contest.  No official word yet on his opponent.  Quarles (14-3-1, six KO's) is coming off a fourth-round TKO over Dennis Sharpe on November 1 in Washington, DC.

Ferndale, MD heavyweight "Slick" Nick Kisner will battle "The Rumblin' Man" Marlon Hayes of Newark, NJ in a six-round contest.  Kisner (13-1-1, five KO's) last fought on July 18 and won a four-round unanimous decision over Pedro Martinez in Hanover, PA.

Hayes (23-16, 11 KO's) has fought a number of quality opponents during his 18-year career including Adonis Stevenson, Elvir Muriqi, Deontay Wilder, Jaidon Codrington and Vadim Tokarev.  Hayes competes in the Beltway region for the first time since April of 2002 when he won an eight-round unanimous decision over Dennis McKinney at the DC Tunnel (now EchoStage Lounge) in Washington, DC.

Super lightweight and Bridgeton, Barbados native Cobia Breedy also has been added to the show.  Breedy (1-0) made his pro debut on October 24 and won a four-round unanimous decision over Thomas Herrera in Fort Washington, MD.

Also scheduled to appear on this card will be Newport News, VA heavyweight Jerry "Slug" Forrest and Lynchburg, VA super middleweight Jess "Thunder" Noriega.

These names are added to the boxers already announced for the card -- Tony "Mo Better" Jeter, Edgar "Tiger" Torres, Mike Balogun and the debuting Zaribek Nishanbaev and Luther Smith.

The main event on the card remains the battle for the Virginia State Welterweight title -- Gerome Quigley vs. Richard "Tiger" Lee Hall.
