Douglas Scores Second-Round TKO in New York!

Burke, VA middleweight Antoine "Action" Douglas remains undefeated with a second-round TKO over Juan Zapata of the Bronx, NY tonight at the Whitehall Athletic Club in Whitehall, NY.

According to reporter JR Jowett, Douglas landed a big left hand near the end of the first round.  Then in the second as the two were trading on the ropes, Douglas dropped Zapata to his knees with a left hook over the ear.  When Zapata got up, he fought bravely but a series of lefts dropped Zapata face first onto the canvas.  Referee Paul Brown waved off the contest at 2:02 of the second.

The win raises Douglas's record to 6-0, four KO's.  Zapata is now 2-6-1, one KO.

This guy Juan Zapata, shouldn't be boxing. He just got carried out on a stretcher in January. WTF
