Undefeated Baltimore, MD welterweight James "Keep 'Em Sleepin'" Stevenson has been added to the Saturday, March 30 Babie Girl Promotions card at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington, DC.
Stevenson (18-0, 11 KO's) has not fought since winning a four-round unanimous decision over Damon Antoine on November 8 in Cockeysville, MD. Stevenson's opponent will be Eric "Fast Hands" Burke of Columbus, Ohio. Burke (6-29-3, five KO's) has been stopped in his last three outings including a fifth-round stoppage at the hands of Ivan Ziglar in May of 2012 at the Washington Convention Center.

Stevenson is waiting because he is brilliant. He makes money without taking unessary chances. Don't be jealous because he knows the game. He should wait for that large HBO payday. He ain't stupid. He's not fighting to satisfy you. He's fighting to satisfy his pockets. The smart careful guys in boxing are well rewarded. Keep up the good work Stevenson. They give Gary russell jr shit too for fighting not so talent guys, but look at him now, he's making money without taking chances. Be smart! It's all about you at the end of the day.

i sen that fight in md. ballard knocked him into yesteryear. its on knockout highlights. Thomas Williams was emergency room bound that night. He turned pro so he would not have to see ballard again. LMAO

I think they are still taking their time with Stevenson. Since 2009, Stevenson hasn't been the most active of boxers fighting just twice or three times a year.
Stevenson only fought three times since the death of his father. I think they are still taking their time.
I don't think they taking they time a lot of these boxers are just protecting theyself from a lose cause they not that good in the first place
