DC lightweight Joshua Davis opens tonight's card at Rosecroft with a second-round TKO over Philadelphia, PA's Benjamin "The Shadow" Burgos. Burgos opened the bout strong and hit Davis with some good shots. However, Davis turned the tide late in the first round with solid left hands.
Early in the second, Davis landed a hard right hand that drove Burgos to the ropes where Davis was able to pummel Burgos until referee Brent Bovell stopped the contest at 32 seconds. Davis is now 3-0, two KO's while Burgos is 1-4.
Next up: Kevin Rivers, Jr. versus Antonio Sanchez of Columbia, SC.
