Ring Collapse Postpones Beltway Boxers's Bouts in Wilson, NC!

It seems that there were a group of Beltway Boxers from Club One Fitness in Millersville, MD who were slated to participate on a pro card in Wilson, NC tonight.  One did get a chance to fight -- undefeated Severn, MD middleweight Sherman Artis did win his bout by a four-round unanimous decision over the debuting Lionel Charles from New York City.  Artis is now 3-0.

However, before Alexandria, VA middleweight Brandon Quarles (8-0, two KO's)and middleweight and Brooklyn, NY transplant to the Beltway area Dushane Crooks (5-0, four KO's) were able to try to extend their undefeated strings, a funny thing happened -- the ring collapsed!  The card was postponed and BATB has been told the card will be rescheduled for next week.
