Much too early to tell if Harrison will be great or not. However, I do know that the path to greatness starts off slow. To push this 17 year old kid any faster would be considered bad management. So far, he or someone is doing something correct. From the looks of the crowd, it was quite obvious who they were there to see. I would not be surprised if on May 12th. He again fights an easy one. Only a fool would take a chance on an upset when you are making large amounts of money all across the board. Hopefully, this young man or people behind him does not allow the negative/jealous/hatin comments to influence his choice of boxers to fight. I would suggest that this young 17 year old boy/man play it safe until the age of 21. Why ruin a decent pay so early. You have captured the fans like no other and it's obviously going to grow with each and every fight. I myself was one of those many getting a picture and autograph with this kid name Dusty. I have also learned the hard way, that when this kid fights, you better get your ticket early. I seen hundreds in the lobby willing to pay extra just to see the so called Dusty-fight. I would suggest that the venue move to a bigger section. Not sure of the exact amount last night, 3,500 or so, but I do know that hundreds of more were willing to pay the $35.00 fee to stand if needed.

A good night all around. I'm torn whether I prefer a night like this with some serious mismatches but some exciting KOs as well. Or say, something like a J.D. Brown/Patriot Center card where the fighters are better matched, the caveat being that you run the real possibility of having every bout going to decision. I don't know. Food for thought.

u gotta be kidding me. jd brown and the patriot center. WTF they are the worse mis matches i ever seen. the must me papa lange talking shit. what mis matches were last night anyway, there were only 2 knock outs out of 9 fights.

You don't call Dusty vs. Booker Mullins a mismatch? I think that Digital hit it on the money when he (diplomatically) called it a "showcase."

With all the money and dreams that are tied up with Dusty, I don't expect him to be evenly matched until his record gets pumped up considerably.

There's no reason to bash J.D. Brown. His fights are almost aways compeitive. Every fight at the last Patriot Center show went the distance.

I enjoy the Pat Center shows and I enjoyed last night's card, too. That is possible you know, to enjoy the work of one matchmaker and not trash another.

G what's going on with them golden gloves results?

Before you criticize the matchmaking you have to analyze who is fighting first. Ziglar was coming off a 14-month layoff where he broke his jaw in his last fight. Bo was coming off a brutal knockout loss. Barnett is coming off a year layoff and a nationally televised KO loss. Gaines and Rupard are bigtime ticket sellers making their debuts in front of hundreds of their own people.

There is a time and place to match guys tough. For these 5 fighters, last night was not the time for that. They needed winnable fights that were competitive enough to keep the crowd excited and they got just that. Not to mention, Keystone has a history of appropriately matching fighters.

Dusty's fight was a showcase as Gary said, and he will be groomed for tougher fights down the line. I would expect all of these fighters to be matched much tougher on the May 12th card if they are lucky enough to be on it.

I probably will not get the Golden Gloves results until sometime on Monday.

Hey you analyzing the fights.
People pay to see fights not the horse shit your talking about.
If your going to build some of these fighters don't do them all on the same card and make the whole card stink. To say that Harrisson won't be matched tough for a while isn't very smart of you if you are with the promotion.
I think you will find that your attendance will fade soon enough
and then lets hear you these guys have to be built.

Everyone who attended this show had a great time and were extremely satisfied with each and every fight. Not one person complained. The DC Boxing Commission did a wonderful job. It's way too late for your jealous behavior to ruin it now. Keystone Promotions has made the boxing fans of DC/MD/VA very happy. Get your hateful thoughts together and work on ruining May 12th. show. You are falling behind worrying about the terrific show that was sat night.

Stay home then brother these fight cards will be a success with or without you.

I would not say we were extremely satisfied with every fight champ. In my opinion, the matchmaking could have been better. And yes, I was there from the first bell 'till the last
