Sensibaugh, Buberman,, Sterling, Reed Win Belts At Amateur Card in Millersville!

Four Beltway amateurs captured belts during a solid night of amateur boxing at Club One Fitness in Millersville, MD. Jeter Promotions put together four championship bouts -- two Metro titles and two Maryland State championships.

In the feature bout, Club One's Brady Sensibaugh won the Maryland state 119-pound open title with a decision victory over Omar Soto of the Down Under Boxing Club in Salisbury.

The co-feature saw heavyweight Marat Buberman win the Maryland title by RSC-3 over Club One's Charles Wallace.

Down Under's Maynard Sterling won the Metro 150-pound title over Zarifbeck Nishanbaev of LA Boxing. Also, 2011 National Golden Gloves champion Michael Reed of Dream Team won the Metro 141-pound title after Emmanuel Rodriguez of Down Under retired after the second round. Rodriguez angrily left the ring after the second round. To his credit, Rodriguez gave a very heartfelt apology to Reed and the crowd.

The Outstanding Boxer of the night was Club One's Nolan Arnold who earned an RSC in the third round over Tremain Wilson of LA Boxing.

The results of other bouts on the card:

Amelia Moore (Club One) RSC-3 over Shane Crisostono (LA Boxing)

Ivan Callixto (Main Street) over Alexander Gonzalez (Club One)

Benjamin Marshall (Club One) over Juan Melnar (Frederick Fight Club)

Yurii Polishewk (LA Boxing) over Champ Moultrie (Club One)

I thought Brady was to old to fight in the silvers cuz the only way to win the md state title is to win the silvers or golden gloves

All this is is a make believe title

Seventeen-year old Lawrence Singh, the son of immigrant parents, is currently a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic boxing team. Boxing has done more than propel Lawrence out of DC; it has formed an unbreakable bond between him and his father. Loknauth Singh stands ringside every time Lawrence trains, cheering him on as his son pursues his dreams.

My review of the fights... Overall good show decent crowd good for am. Boxing... Now to the individual fights mike Reed looked very sharp like usual against a tough guy he's a slick south paw that can do big things in pros! I thought sterling lost but it was good hard fought match... The super heavy match was ridicoulas nothing else to say... Sensibaugh looked good against strong older man I would like to see him move less but again that's how he wins with his awkard movement and style I would like to see how he does a open tournament! So good show put on by Tony jetter good fights and decent crowd!

Brady should have received the outstanding boxer's award. He whipped that grown man like a step child. Brady is the best little boxer around right now. I cannot wait to see him in the professional ranks.

For all in attendance @ Millersville Club 1 fights saturday night it was a nice evening and congrats to all the winners. I especially enjoy a good hard fight with skillz. The fight of the night to me was Maynard " Mayhop " " The persecuter" Sterling showed much promises and is on the rise to stardom. All take note Mayhop is no joke. . .so haters keep on hatin . . we need you.

That was one of the best boxing shows I have been to in a long time. That includes professional and amateur.
