Baltimore middleweight Franchon Crews was disqualified in her 165-pound Pan American Games Box-Off Championship tonight in Colorado Springs, CO. Tiffanie Hearn of Louisville, KY will receive the opportunity to go to the qualifier in Venezuela March 25-30.
The US Team will have some Beltway representation, however. DC super heavyweight Danny Kelly will head to Venezuela as he was unopposed in the Box-Offs. One of the coaches will be Barry Hunter.
